THE PROJECT:

A VISUAL REBRAND


A five-day photography production at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center to create a fresh visual identity for the Nashville Symphony. This cohesive suite of portraits was designed for maximum versatility—to be used across all print and digital advertising, billboards, and as the official framed headshots of the members on display at the Schermerhorn Symphony Hall.

  • First visual refresh for the NSO since the 2019/2020 season 

  • Worked with the NSO's specified marketing budget to create a concept that was fresh and bold

  • Created photos that feel relaxed and approachable, that showcase the personality of each musicians

THE DELIVERABLES

  • THE FULL ORCEHSTRA: A singular, definitive "hero" shot of the entire orchestra, captured in-camera to showcase the unity and prestige of the organization.

  • SECTION PORTRAITS: Stylized group photography of all eight orchestral sections, establishing a consistent aesthetic across the entire ensemble.

  • INDIVIDUAL MUSICIAN PORTRAITS: Individual portraits for the musicians across two distinct setups:

    • Classical & Traditional: A timeless, elegant series reflecting the heritage of the symphony.

    • The B&W Edit: A playful, lighthearted, and high-contrast series designed for modern engagement. This collection has already been integrated extensively into the Symphony's billboards and advertising campaigns.
