Anna Haas Creative is focused on empowering all people, including BIPOC, LGBTQIA and Women. 

 

We are a network of supportive allies, and above all wish to foster a safe, empowered creative space, especially for people who frequently experience an absence of advocacy. 

 

We are in acknowledgement of the oppression and brutality towards BIPOC communities in the US, and are invested in doing the work to lift up the voices of artists and businesses of color. We acknowledge systematic and institutionalized systems of racism and sexism, and believe in standing for justice, equality, inherent respect, and the empowerment of and investment in marginalized groups. 

 

We proudly proclaim that BLACK LIVES MATTER, and support the international Black Lives Matter movement for racial justice for people of color, and denounce police brutality.

 

Members of the Anna Haas Creative team:

 

Stand against police brutality of all forms.

Stand against a criminal justice system that disproportionately targets black Americans.

Stand against the widespread disenfranchisement of Black and Brown communities whose voices are suppressed at the polls. 

Believe that Allyship with Black communities is as much a moral imperative as a requirement of our business.

 

Additionally,

 

We cannot support artists and entrepreneurs, if we don’t also fight for the empowerment of BIPOC artists and entrepreneurs.

 

We cannot hire and care for our BIPOC employees, if we don’t actively work to protect BIPOC lives and opportunities everywhere.

 

We cannot advocate for women or LGBTQIA employees, if we aren’t also standing up for BIPOC women and LGBTQIA. 

 

We cannot be conscientious working artists and creators of culture, if we don’t celebrate, acknowledge and uplift the cultures that have inspired and enriched us.
